- ça me plaît: I like it.

Explanations
We don't often use "je l'aime" to translate 'I like it', just when we are talking about something specific: do you like my cake? I like it (tu aimes mon gâteau? je l'aime), but in general, we say "j'aime ça": do you like coffee? I like it (tu aime le café? j'aime ça)
Courir means to run, if you don't run after something it is because you don't like it.
