1- The most, the least + ADJECTIVE or ADVERB

The most Beautiful

The least slowly

The most: le plus
The least: le moins

A- Examples

It is the biggest: c’est le plus grand
She is the least tall: elle est la moins grande

B- Examples with a noun

She is the youngest girl: c’est la fille la plus jeune
He is the richest man in town: c’est l’homme le plus riche de la ville

Le/la + noun + le/la + superlative (plus, moins)

I work the most: je travaille le plus
What made me laugh the most is the clown: Ce qui m’a fait rire le plus c’est le clown

I eat as little as possible: Je mange le moins possible

2- The most, the least + noun

We do not use the feminine forms (we don’t say la plus de)

The most money

The least mistakes

The most: le plus de
The least: le moins de

Examples:

I am the one who won the most money: C’est moi qui ai gagné le plus d’argent
He made the least mistakes in the class: Il a fait le moins d’erreur de la classe
