Le passé composé of some very common French verbs that are irregular: Faire, Dire, Prendre

Past Participle: Fait, Dit, Prendre
J’ai fait: I have made (done), I made (did)
Tu as dit: You have said, you said
Il,elle a pris: He,she has taken, she took
Nous avons fait: We have made (done), we made (did)
Vous avez dit: You have said, you said
Ils, elles ont pris: They have taken, they took
J’ai fait la vaisselle: I washed the dishes
Vaisselle is the direct object but placed after the verbs
Je l‘ai faite: I did it
L’ is the direct object placed before the verb: agreement.
These irregular verbs are different as you can hear that the past participle is said differently.

Tu as dit des bêtises: You talked nonsense
Bêtises is feminine and plural, so is the pronoun Les
Tu les as dites: You said them
Il a pris les fleurs: He took the flowers
Fleurs is feminine and plural
Il les a prises
The same things for verbs like: mettre, écrire
Past Participle:
Masculine form (singular, plural): mis, écrit
Feminine form: mise, écrite
