The letter B is at the end of the word is mute:

Exception: Words coming from a foreign language (not French), in this case the B is said

The same thing for the apocopes like Pub coming from Publicité.

The letter C is at the end of the word is not said:

We always pronounce it.
Exception: the plural of Oeuf is Oeufs and the F is not said.
