Age in French:

In English we use the verb to be but it is to have in French: il a 22 ans.
But we have this expression too: être âgé de with the verb to be:
Pour entrer il faut être agé de 18 ans: to enter you must be 18 old.

Nombre, Numéro

Chiffre: a number from 0 to 9
Nombre: all numbers
Numéro: the number of something, a house, a car, a telephone...

Contractions
