Coucou (colloquial word to say hi)

We say:
Bonjour: in the morning or in afternoon but at the beginning of the conversation.
Bonne journée: have a good day, to say good bye.
Bonne matinée: have a good morning so it is to say good bye.
Bonne après-midi: have a good afternoon (to say good bye).
Bonsoir:in the evening or at night but at the beginning of the conversation.
Bonne soirée: have a good evening (to say good bye)
Bonne nuit: good night (to say good bye).
So we do not use bonne matinée, bonne après-midi, bonne soirée or bonne nuit to start a conversation. We can also say: "passez une bonne journée!".

All what you can say to translate "how are you?":
Comment allez-vous? Vous allez comment? Vous allez bien?
Comment vas-tu? Tu vas comment? Tu vas bien?
ça va? ça va bien?
Quoi de neuf? (what's up?)

All what you can say to reply:
Bien, très bien, pas trop mal, comme-ci comme ça (so so), ça va! ça va bien! super bien!

All what you can say to say good bye:
Au revoir, salut, bonne matinée, bonne après-midi, bonne soirée, bonne nuit.
à tout à l'heure (see you in a little while).
à plus tard (see you in several hours), we also say à plus.
à bientôt (see you later, tomorrow or more).
à un de ces quatre (you don't know when) or à un de ces jours.
